Reiki is a system of light, non-invasive touch.
During a service, this light touch is placed and held on a series of locations on the head and front and back of the torso. Reiki is based on the belief that light touch by an experienced practitioner produces beneficial effects by strengthening and normalizing certain vital energy fields held to exist within the body.
Energy work aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks. Improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, reduce pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
Reiki + Energy Work with Optional Sound Integration
Reiki + Energy Work
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy-based practice that uses light touch, or hands held just above the body, to support a deeply restful and restorative experience. During a Reiki session, the practitioner works through a series of positions around the head and body, inviting stillness, relaxation, and a sense of energetic balance.
The Be. Approach
At Be., we view Reiki and energy work as an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and create space for the body and mind to settle. Reiki is rooted in the belief that the body has its own energetic system and that supporting the flow of energy may encourage relaxation, ease tension, and promote an overall sense of well-being.
Sound as an Optional Element
To deepen and personalize the experience, sound may be thoughtfully woven into the session based on the client’s desires and intentions. This may include the resonant tones of singing bowls, tuning forks, or other gentle sound elements. Vibrations and tones can become another vehicle for grounding, sensory awareness, and relaxation, creating a multidimensional experience that engages both the energetic and sensory aspects of the practice.
Your Experience
Each session is individualized. Some clients may prefer a quiet, still Reiki experience, while others may desire the addition of sound to create a more immersive experience. You are invited to choose what feels supportive for you.
Reiki and Energy Work are known to:
Help you let go of tension and relax deeply
