What are community waiver services?
Be.’s waiver services are specific programs in which the professionals at Be. can assist children with disabilities and their families with social supports and services that can help children grow and live their best lives and families flourish.

Keeping our offerings and services accessible is an important part of our mission.
Be. partners with waiver support services such as CLTS and IRIS as a way to support and allow clients with unique and special abilities and needs to access our services.
Be. believes that all populations should have access to the care they determine is the right fit for their needs, and waiver support services allow clients to be involved in that process and to access supports that may not otherwise be available.
Be. Services
A Different Approach to Mental Health & Healing
At Be., we believe there is no single path to healing, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care. We see the person first, patient second, and believe meaningful support begins with understanding the whole individual: mind, body, spirit, relationships, environment, strengths, and lived experience.
Our approach is individualized, integrative, and rooted in curiosity. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or behaviors, we seek to understand what may be underneath them. We look for patterns, contributing factors, unmet needs, and areas of imbalance that may be influencing how a person is experiencing the world. From there, we collaborate with individuals and families to determine what combination of supports may be most meaningful and appropriate.
Be. offers traditional psychological services alongside complementary and experiential approaches, allowing care to be thoughtfully tailored to the individual. Depending on the person and their goals, this may include mental health therapy, family support, therapeutic yoga, creative and experiential services, Reiki, sound-based practices, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, specialized groups, or other specially crafted offerings.
Our goal is not simply to address what is difficult. It is to understand the whole person, recognize strengths, uncover possibilities, and create a path toward greater connection, regulation, growth, and healing.
Sometimes that path is straightforward. Sometimes it requires looking a little deeper. And sometimes it requires creating something that doesn't yet exist.
At Be., we are willing to look, listen, collaborate, and create.
CLTS Family Support, Training & Coaching
Be. provides individualized support for children and families participating in the Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) program. Services may be short-term or ongoing and are developed around the unique needs, goals, and circumstances of each family.
Parent support may include education, coaching, problem-solving, skill development, advocacy, and collaboration designed to help caregivers better understand and support their child. We work with families to identify what is underneath the presenting concern and determine what types of support may be most useful.
Integrated Sleep Support & Intervention
Sleep can be deeply connected to emotional regulation, behavior, development, family dynamics, and the environment around a child. Be. offers individualized sleep support that looks beyond the sleep concern itself to better understand the factors that may be contributing to disrupted sleep.
Our approach may include a comprehensive look at developmental history, sleep patterns, bedtime routines, behavioral and emotional factors, family dynamics, environmental influences, and caregiver responses. Support may include parent coaching, developmentally appropriate expectations, individualized sleep plans, strategies for bedtime resistance and night waking, emotional co-regulation, and support for building healthy and sustainable sleep routines.
For children, sleep support may also incorporate individual therapeutic and skills-based interventions focused on emotional awareness, regulation, coping skills, anxiety, independence, and environmental factors that may be impacting sleep. When appropriate, yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and other mind-body approaches may be incorporated to support nervous-system regulation and the transition into rest.
At Be., we recognize that sleep concerns rarely exist in isolation. Our goal is not simply to help someone sleep—it is to understand what may be getting in the way of rest and work collaboratively with the individual and family to create meaningful, sustainable change.
Reiki & Energy Work
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy-based practice that offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and support relaxation and a sense of balance. At Be., Reiki may be incorporated as a complementary support within a larger approach to mind, body, and spirit wellness.
Sessions are individualized to the person and their comfort, needs, and intentions, creating space to pause, reconnect with oneself, and support a greater sense of calm and restoration.
Reiki & Sound
The combination of Reiki and sound creates a deeply restorative experience that engages both energetic and sensory awareness. Sound-based practices may incorporate instruments such as singing bowls, while Reiki provides gentle energy work.
Together, these approaches offer space for relaxation, grounding, body awareness, and renewal. As with all Be. services, the experience can be adapted to the individual and their sensory preferences and needs.
Sound Healing & Sound Immersion
Be. offers a variety of sound-based experiences designed to create space for deep relaxation, restoration, and reconnection. Using instruments such as Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, and other intentional sounds, these experiences invite participants to slow down and experience sound through both listening and vibration. Sound offerings may take the form of an immersive sound bath, individualized sound experience, or specially crafted group gathering.
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy is a gentle, body-based approach that works with the body's fascial and craniosacral systems. At Be., this work is approached with an understanding that physical and emotional experiences can be interconnected.
Through light, sustained touch, the practitioner works with areas of tension and restriction to support the body's natural processes of regulation and release. Sessions are individualized and approached with attention to the person's unique needs and comfort.
Therapeutic Yoga
Therapeutic yoga at Be. goes beyond traditional exercise or yoga instruction. Movement, breath, mindfulness, and body awareness are thoughtfully integrated to support the individual's physical, emotional, and nervous-system needs.
Practices are adapted to the person rather than asking the person to fit a particular practice. Therapeutic yoga may be incorporated into individualized care or developed into specially crafted experiences for children, families, groups, and unique populations.
Specially Crafted Individual & Group Offerings
Sometimes an existing service isn't quite the right fit. Be. specializes in creating specially crafted experiences around the needs of an individual, family, group, organization, or unique population.
These offerings may combine mental health, movement, creative expression, mindfulness, body-based practices, education, or complementary approaches. We can work collaboratively to develop a service or group around a specific need, desired outcome, or population.
Be. Seen
Be. Seen is a mind, body, spirit support group for school-aged siblings of individuals with special and unique abilities and needs.
Siblings can sometimes feel isolated, overlooked, or expected to simply “understand.” Be. Seen creates intentional space for them to be recognized as individuals in their own right.
The group combines process-oriented support with experiential activities that encourage emotional expression, peer connection, body awareness, regulation, and a sense of belonging.
Be. Heard
Be. Heard is an opportunity for children and adolescents to have space for their experiences, perspectives, emotions, and needs to be genuinely recognized.
Through therapeutic, creative, and experiential approaches, participants are supported in finding ways to communicate what may be difficult to put into words.
The emphasis is not simply on teaching communication skills—it is on creating an environment where each individual feels listened to, understood, and valued.
Be. Exceptional
Be. Exceptional is a specially crafted offering for individuals with unique needs and abilities. It is designed around inclusion, personal expression, connection, and honoring each individual's way of experiencing and engaging with the world.
Offerings may incorporate yoga, movement, breath, sound, mindfulness, family participation, or other individualized supports. Rather than asking individuals to adapt to a predetermined format, Be. works to create an environment that adapts to the individual.
Traditional Mental Health Services
Be. provides traditional mental health services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. These services may address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, relational, developmental, and life circumstances.
Even within traditional mental health care, Be. maintains its person-first philosophy: understanding the individual beyond a diagnosis or presenting concern and working collaboratively toward health, healing, growth, and meaningful change.
Individualized & Integrative Care
One of the things that makes Be. different is our willingness to look beyond a single modality. Sometimes the most effective support isn't one service—it is the right combination of services.
Through professional consultation and collaboration, Be. can help identify which supports may best fit an individual's needs and goals. A personalized care plan might include traditional mental health services alongside therapeutic yoga, family support, creative services, or complementary approaches.
This integrated model allows us to consider the whole person and, when appropriate, address concerns from multiple perspectives.
Root-Cause & Whole-Person Approach
At the heart of Be. is a desire to understand why something is happening—not simply how it is showing up.
Behavior, symptoms, emotional responses, physical tension, relationship difficulties, and other concerns can all be pieces of a much larger picture. We take time to explore those pieces, identify patterns and contributing factors, recognize strengths, and consider what the individual or family may need in order to move toward greater balance and well-being.
This is what makes our approach truly individualized.
We don't begin with a predetermined answer. We begin with the person.
Current Partnerships
Be. can offer a variety of different ways to get involved and offer new and exciting ways for the community to get involved.
We crafts and create offerings based on your requests and direction and pair them with our team of practitioners knowledge and skill. Some of our offerings have been created solely by practitioner design. Others like Be. Exceptional, were created with input from our clients who were looking a certain type of offering. We want to work with YOU to determine how we can best support your individual or group needs and then collaborate to build the services or offerings that are ideally suited to meet your goals and create a unique and nourishing experience.

Rethinking Community Mental Health
At Be. we make it a priority to meet everyone we are working with, be it an individual, school, organization, wherever they are in the current moment. We strive to tailor our approach to health and healing around our client's unique needs rather than attempting to fit the client around a predetermined approach.
One of the ways we do this is by creating unique opportunities to bridge the gap between traditional mental health services and our local community. We know mental health care involves more than a one-on-one traditional talk therapy approach. It begins in our homes, affects our children in their schools, and spreads in to many different facets of our lives. That is why we aim to provide a holistic approach that recognizes the multitude of ways these elements shape and influence our path to healing and better health.
Family Support Services
Be.’s Family Support Services are individualized to the needs of the family being served and serve as a wrap-around approach to help the family unit function optimally based on their needs. These services will provide the family with strategies and education to enhance interpersonal and relational skills and increase support for parents/caregivers and children. They are appropriate for family dynamics that are struggling due to social, emotional, behavioral, and/or mental health challenges. This service can be used to also help families obtain additional services and navigate the complex systems that serve children.
Comprehensive Continuity of Care
Be. Specialized in an opportunity to consult with and coordinate services with the professionals at Be. in order to design and create a customized, uniquely-tailored individualized service structure or group offering for a child, family, group, organization, or unique population. Our individualized approach makes our services accessible to all. Be.’s group offerings, and service menus can be templated to fit more generalized needs or created to serve and support more specialized interests, needs, and populations.
Professional Services for School Systems
Be. Schooled is a professional mental health support service that offers direct and indirect services to school systems to help support a healthy academic, social, and behavioral environment for students and staff. The goal of this process is to provide professional mental health guidance that will help school districts determine what services will best support the students. After direction is determined we can also help coordinate and deliver the appropriate support structure to address the needs present.
Regular Offerings for Our Community
At Be. we make it a priority to meet each client where they are. We strive to tailor and fit our approach around our clients’ unique needs rather than attempting to fit the client around a predetermined treatment approach.
One of the ways we do this is by crafting speciality group offerings. Many of our yoga offerings are actually offerings that clients requested!
Be. Exceptional was created because a group of wonderful mothers simply reached out. This group of mothers noticed there was a need for a yoga offering dedicated to kiddos with special and unique abilities. We believed the samem and that is how one of our favorite regular offerings was born.
Regular Yoga Offerings
Movement is an important aspect of wellbeing. It is our body’s way of processing experience. Be.’s regular yoga offerings are designed to provide restorative and healing asanas, instructors that guide your personal journey by allowing the pose to be the teacher, and a strong focus on breathwork and mindfulness.
Unique Specialty Offerings
Our practitioners bring a wide array of personal backgrounds and expertise they love to share, and we’re always excited to partner with other professionals in our community. Together we occasionally offer unique specialty offerings that will not be held weekly on specific time and day, but are scheduled occasionally throughout the year as special opportunities.
(We can even create one for you!)
Child & Adolescent Groups
Groups are a powerful adjunct to mental health treatment. They can be enjoyed alone or in together with individual therapy. Groups provide children and adolescents with a healthy context to work through current concerns through positive peer interactions, building relationships, and developing prosocial skills. Groups help youth develop a sense of belonging and cohesiveness through peer connections, feedback, and support.
